Palm Beach is located in New South Wales, the country of Australia. This is the beachside suburb of Sydney and it located 41 km north of the Sidney central business district. This seaside resorts sits on the peninsula between Pittwater and Broken Bay.
Palm Beach is fairly long and it stretches for 2.3 km. It is well exposed to the southerly waves and from the back it is protected by the bushy sand dunes. The beach offers little natural shade. Being exposed to waves, Palm Beach is very popular surfing spot all year round and the waves average around 1.5 m in the northern part of the beach. As for the swimming it is highly advisable to stay in the patrolled parts, between the flags because of the persistent strong rips. As for the facilities Palm Beach offers almost anything you can think of. On and in the vicinity of the beach you can find toilets (also toilets for persons with disabilities), showers, dressing rooms, places where to buy drinks and food various shops… The beach also has its parking lot and offers a good choice of accommodation units. Occupation rate of Palm Beach during the summer season is high and the beach is easily reachable by various means of transport.
As for the weather conditions, the summers in this area are very hot with January being the warmest month. The weather is moderated by the currents of the ocean. During January and February easterly winds dominate and the rainfalls are slightly higher than in other parts of the year. The best time to visit Palm Beach is from December to March.

Palm Beach is a large sea beach with high occupation rate. The beach faces the East side and it is wind affected. The beach is composed of sand and it is not nudist friendly. The best month to visit the Palm Beach is January.
